26/5/1944 POSTMAN'S DEATH
The death took place at his home 25, Oaklands Avenue, Rodley on Saturday of Mr. Harry Foster, aged 52.
He was a Farsley man and had been a postman at Rodley for 15 years.
He served 21 years in the Army, being gassed during the last war.
He was employed as a postman at Leeds before his death.
The funeral service was held at Farsley Baptist Church on Wednesday and interment was at Bagley burial ground.
