The parentage stated in the LGC register is rather mysterious - Richard and what looks like 'Ann' Wormald.
George lived at 25 Dover St., which is probably where the Laycocks lived in 1871.
Cannot find a Richard and Ann Wormald together around that time, and FreeBMD have no marriages of a Richard Wormald to an Ann.
