The following information was provided by Dale John Joseph Leppard.
At present I have no way of checking the accuracy of much of it.
Concetta Lordi was the daughter of Pietro Antonio Lordi b. 06/03/1859 in Buccino who married 02/16/1887 in Newark to Rosa Iasillo. They lived at 160 North Canal Street in Newark.
[The above is confirmed by various US records.]
Pietro was the son of Paquale Lordi (10/23/1840-11/18/1902) who also came here and his wife Maria Giovanna Di Leo who were married 07/05/1858.
[US Census records confirm that Pietro (or Peter) was the son of Pasquale and Maria Giovani. However, the 1900 US Census says Pasquale was born in November 1828.]
Pasquale was the son of Pietro Fortunato Lordi b. 03/22/1812 and his wife Carmina Iuorio who were married 09/22/1839.
Pietro was the son of Francesco Carmine Lordi (09/03/1772-08/03/1842) and his wife Mariantonia Giuseppa Amendola who married 12/07/1791.
Francesco was the son of Nicola Pasquale Lordi b. 10/02/1735 and his wife Margherita Volpe who were married 04/21/1760.
Nicola was the son of Pasquale Nicola Giuseppe Lordi b. 09/01/1685 and his wife Antonia Chiariello.
Pasquale was the son of Francesco Antonio Lordi b. 03/04/1660 and his wife Angela Chiariello.
Francesco was the son of Pasquale Luordo b. circa 1630 in San Gregorio Magno d. 09/19/1676 in Buccino and his wife Caterina D'Alessio who were married 05/11/1659.
Pasquale was apparently the son of Natale Luordo bp. 12/01/1587 in San Gregorio Magno d. 08/26/1663 in Buccino and his first wife whose name is currently unknown.
Natale was the son of Leonardo Luordo of San Gregorio Magno and his wife Portia Della Sotana.
I believe Leonardo was the son of Domenico Luordo of San Gregorio Magno who is the earliest member of the family who we know at this time. I think he was born around 1525.
The information above all comes from extracts of the Roman Catholic Church registers of Buccino and San Gregorio Magno except for the marriage record of Pietro in 1887 and the death record of Pasquale in 1902. The former is available online through Ancestry as a marriage of the city of Newark and the latter from an official New Jersey death certificate.
